Description
The uneven twill employed in the Works collection – smoother than the traditional one – is called Broken Twill and it was originally invented for jeans. This fabric is also used in workwear because of its durability, counterbalanced by smoothness. Most vulcanised shoes are made from classic canvas, but the Broken Twill gifts the Works range with a
similar durability and an elegant look. This season, the proposal features two classic styles with off white foxing and two eye-catching accent-coloured styles. The shoe outsole is made of one piece of rubber. Called a cup sole as the sole unit “cups” the upper. This sole is revived from the ‘70s archives of Superga.
