Superga® ARTIFACT Spring Summer 2023
Superga® launches the 6th edition of its top-of-the-range footwear collection. Artifact by Superga® takes its name from the Italian word Artefatto and pays homage to 100 years of expertise in vulcanized shoes.
Being the brand’s pinnacle product lines, it’s been designed, by Amsterdam based japanese Designer Teppei Sugaya with classic piece-of-art attention to detail, for urban people of today that are keen on basic, utilitarian
style yet refined garments.
In Artifact by Superga®, heritage details are repurposed to acquire a new functionality and provide the new silhouettes with an authentic look. The collection is divided into three main clusters: Mil Spec, Works and Deck. A dedicated, essential and elegant packaging completes the proposal.
The classic Superga® bumper features a unique detail: it is turned 45°
compared to the usual. This gives it a diamondappearance.
Form follows function. Pressing the foxing with a fudge wheel while glueing it to the upper guarantees an excellent adherence.
The shoelaces are made in cotton with a waxed effect. This processing
technique contributes to adding extra grip and durability.
This collection’s heel patch logo has been designed to echo the one of Superga® tennis shoes from the ‘50s, paying homage to the brand’s origins.
