This is a new style offered by Thedileathers. Our first Horsehide Jacket since long time. Teacore is a special way of tanning. It is a more thoughtful and conscientious style of tanning, which, because of its higher cost, often entails a more fair labor and lessened environmental impact. A black tanned leather is also called: ,,Black over brown” because through wear the outermost layer of pigment will disappear and a new layer of color will appear. A black tanned leather can fade into a dark brown through wearing. Abrasion and movement will support this fading.
It is one of the lengthiest and costliest ways to tan a hide.
