Type Deck A-2 Coat Olive BR14956

The A-2 Deck Jacket was adopted in the first half of the 1960’s as a successor model of the N-1, a jacket for cold weather to protect deck crew working on the deck. While the standard color for the officially adopted A-2deck jacket is olive drab, this jacket was made for civilian use and thus is a navy color unlike that for military use. Perhaps because many of the jackets and coats formally issued to the U.S. Navy color as a show of pride, this jacket too has the orthodox style of such accessoiries issued to the military. Feathures zip and button closure.
