Description
This black M-51 parka has the same specifications as the government-issued version, including the wool material used for the pocket bags and the rubber straps on the cuffs. The size stamp on the hood is put by hand on each piece.
Reproduction of the US Army M-51 Parka, which was first introduced during the Korean War. Later this “Fishtail” Parka became also a symbol of the counterculture and peace movement in the 70s and was worn by the“Mods” in the 60s and 70s. Formerly designed as 2-part garment with a liner which was completely removable, the M-51 Parka is mostly worn on its on … till today.
